Catalina (St. Anne’s School Class of 2014; St. Timothy’s School Class of 2018) has been selected as a delegate representing her school at the Brandeis University Global Youth Summit on the Future of Medicine. Selected students rank in the top 5-10% of their high school class, with challenging courses and strong academic performance. Catalina will join an elite group of outstanding students from around the world to learn more about the future of medicine.
Catalina is an honor student in St. Timothy’s IB program and aspires to attend medical school and become a surgeon. She is aiming for an internship at John’s Hopkins University Hospital this summer and was also personally invited to shadow a world renowned pediatric cardiologist at Children’s Hospital in Orange, California. Catalina is interested in attending Cornell, Columbia, or John’s Hopkins and is starting her college search. In addition to her passion for science and medicine, she is also an accomplished equestrienne and competes in local rated shows and on St. Timothy’s equestrian team. Catalina, and her horse Logan, were awarded the 2015 Maryland Horse Shows’ Association Reserve Champion in the Pre-Childrens’ division and placed fifth in the United States Hunter Jumper Association’s Stirrup Cup Award in the Low-Childrens’ division. Elon (Class of 2012 St. Anne’s School, Class of 2016 Bowie Summit Scholars Program) and Erik (Class of 2012 St. Anne’s School, Class of 2016 Archbishop Spalding High School) spoke at St. Anne’s School of Annapolis Back to School Night this year. Reflecting on their time at St. Anne's School, Elon and Erik shared:

Elon and Erik are honor students at their respective high schools and each have 7 AP classes under their belts as they move into their senior year. We wish them the best of luck in their college applications!
Jelani (St. Anne's School Class of 2015, DeMatha Catholic High School Class of 2019) is a flutist in the Concert Band at DeMatha, and is also a wide receiver and safety for the JV Football team. Jelani is in honors Algebra and is pleased to share he will be a Shadow Host and will join the DeMatha Chapter of the NBSE Jr.. He is also a member of Patriots Technology, where he is Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for the Lego Robotics team. Great job, Jelani!
Congratulations to Nathan (St. Anne's School Class of 2005) on his Emmy award through the Lone Star (Texas) chapter in the light feature series category. Nathan's work on the series Ruff Life, featuring a "dog of the week" adoption series earned him this recognition. Ruff Life is a video series which tells a dog's story in a humorous way with pop culture references. Nathan is a video journalist in Dallas, Texas with Tribune Media. Victoria (St. Anne’s School 2014, Severn 2018) received the Coach’s MVP Award for the JV field hockey team at Severn School this fall. Congratulations to Tori!
Savannah (St. Anne's School Class of 2010, Severn 2014, University of Maryland), has been selected by USA Gymnastics to represent the United States at the World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships, scheduled for March 21-April 5 in Putian, China.
