Third Grade Investigates African American History in Annapolis

Our Third Grade class delved into research this spring by investigating African American history and culture in Annapolis, which included trips to the Bates Legacy Center and the Banneker-Douglass Museum, quilt making with Dr. Joan Gaither and classroom visits from cultural and historical foundations in our area. We celebrated their research with an Open House and each student shared what they learned.
