Doug Lyons Announced as Guest Speaker

As part of their 25th Anniversary Speaker Series, the i3 Collaborative at St. Anne’s School of Annapolis will host Doug Lyons for a speaking engagement: The Wonder Years Can Last Forever, on Thursday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m. With 40 years of experience working with students and families as a leader in both private and public education, Doug will share about the impact of a Twos through Eighth Grade program on lifelong learning, and the value of a private school education.

Doug Lyons has been the Executive Director of the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools since July 2004. He began his career in public education, where he worked for twenty years in various roles including Superintendent of schools in New Jersey. His publications on education and parenting have appeared in The New York Times, as well as local, state, and national journals and he is a frequent presenter at conferences for both parents and educators.
