AIMS Learning to Lead Conference


St. Anne’s School faculty, Christian Pazdersky, Sean Johnson, and Tiffany Conroy attended the Learning to Lead Conference in Baltimore. At the conference, staff members explored the topic of inclusive leadership. They worked with faculty from Baltimore area schools and discussed ways to demystify the concept of leadership, teach students to recognize the leader in themselves, and ways to create a positive and diverse leadership culture in the school. Workshops at this year’s conference included, “The Empathy Advantage” - Infusing Empathy into Leadership Development, “Building BRIDGES” - Teaching Leadership through Community Outreach, “Fostering Leadership Through Global Citizenship” - Community Action Education in a LS Classroom, “Collaborative Leadership” - The Story of the Baltimore MS Diversity Conference, and “Creating a Culture of Inclusiveness” - Empowering Student Leadership". Keynote speakers at this year’s conference were Leon Pinkett, Baltimore City Councilman, and Fagan Harris, CEO of Baltimore Corps.
