2017-2018 Staffing Updates

We are pleased to announce the following new staff members to our community. Click here for a complete list of members of the 2017-2018 staff.

The Reverend Alistair So will be serving our community in his role as the school's Chaplain. Father So comes to us with a wealth of experience in the ministry of the Episcopal Church, having served as Rector of All Hallows Parish, Davidsonville, for almost 10 years, and Associate Rector/Priest-in-Charge/Chaplain at St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Episcopal Church and Day School, Severna Park, for 3 years. Prior to the ordained ministry, Father So was a research scientist in the biopharmaceutical industry. One of the hallmarks of his ministry is his contribution to the conversation between faith and science; he previously served as chair of the Episcopal Church’s Executive Council Committee on Science, Technology, and Faith from 2009 to 2015. In that role, Father So engaged the Episcopal Church and other mainline denominations in developing an ongoing dialogue and educational resources for connecting the practice of the Christian faith with insights from modern science and technology. His motto is “fides quaerens intellectum” (faith seeks understanding), from St. Anselm of Canterbury.
