It is with great pleasure and excitement that we welcome you and your family to the St. Anne's School of Annapolis community! The next few months will be full of exciting news about the upcoming school year. Whether this is the beginning of your child's learning journey or you are joining us from another school, our entire staff is here to make your transition as seamless as possible and we look forward to helping you get acquainted with our school and programs. What Happens Next?

Preparing for the Start of School
Throughout the summer, many resources become available in your My BackPack (MBP) account to help you prepare for the start of school. You will receive an email when new resources are available.

In May, you will begin to receive our e-newsletter, The Constellation. The Communications Office publishes The Constellation twice a month throughout the school year and monthly during the summer. All emails from the Communications Office will come from the email address Please add this email address to the safe sender list to ensure you receive emails from our school. You may also want to check your spam or junk mail folder periodically during this time to make sure other important emails from the domain are not being blocked.

Our school website,, and parent portal, known as My BackPack (MBP), are great resources for your family. Below is a list of popular topics for new parents, along with details on when information will be published and where it can be found.

Information for the 2017-2018 school year is updated as it becomes available. Families will receive an email as new information is published.

Summer Work (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade): On June 15, summer enrichment was posted to parent My BackPack accounts. If you have any questions about summer enrichment, please contact your child's program director. Annapolis Twos, Preschool, and Prekindergarten families should contact Jul Lee Martensson while Kindergarten through Eighth Grade families, should contact Chris Conlon.

Forms (Twos - Eighth Grade): Medical and Family Information forms have been posted to your MBP account. These forms are due Friday, August 4. If you have any questions about any of these forms, please contact our main office at

School Supplies (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade): Kindergarten through Eighth Grade supply lists have been posted to your My BackPack account. Supplies should be brought the first day of school, unless otherwise specified. Twos, Preschool, and Prekindergarten class supplies are provided by the school. For your convenience, supplies can also be purchased through the Parents Association School Supply Sale. Information about this sale is posted along with supply lists and the deadline for purchase is August 18.

Uniforms (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade): Uniform policies are updated yearly and have been posted to your MBP account. Parents may purchase uniforms from our designated uniform vendors, Lands' End and Flynn & O’Hara, or, for your convenience, the Parents Association runs a Used Uniform Sale at the school that is open during school hours. Middle School P.E. uniforms are purchased through the Parents Association. Ordering information is available on your My BackPack account.

Transportation (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade): This page explains our transportation options for families. Detailed information from the Annapolis Bus Company has been posted to your My BackPack account. Bus transportation is on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited!

Extended Care (Twos - Eighth Grade): Before Care and After Care information is located on our website. Click here for pricing and general information. Extended Care registration forms were posted on August 11 to the forms section of your My Backpack account.

School Lunch (Twos - Eighth Grade): Information about our Lunch Program was emailed to families on August 23.

After School Programs (Prekindergarten - Eighth Grade): General information about After School Programs including music lessons, Chess Club, and Lego Robotics can be found on our website. Classes are offered on a seasonal and yearly basis. Registration for fall and full year classes will begin in late-August.

Summer Camps: Over the summer our facilities will be utilized by a third party vendor. Visit IDEAS Summer Camps (Ages 3 1/2 to 12 years) and Camp Lead (Rising Sixth - Ninth Graders) to register.

Calendars: The Open/Closed Calendar is shared with enrollment contracts and can also be found on our website. This page also contains a more detailed School Calendar which is updated as information is available. On our website you will also find our Middle School Athletics Calendar and our Admissions and Financial Aid Calendar.

Parents Association: This page introduces you to the Parents Association. Every parent is automatically a member of the Parents Association. Meetings are generally on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. and will be posted on our website calendar as they are available.

Parent Handbook: Our Parent Handbook is updated yearly and and can be found in your MBP account. This handbook is also linked to your enrollment contract.
