Spanish
Kindergarten Spanish meets oncea week for 30 minutes. This first year introduces the students to Spanish language and culture using a variety of second language teaching strategies guided by the Natural Approach and Total Physical Response techniques. These include songs, games, storytelling and hands-on activities that involve all students. Whenever possible, Hispanic culture, vocabulary and songs are taught in conjunction with the season, a holiday or other event with which our students can identify.
