our seventh grade program
Religion
The three monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, are the focus of Seventh Grade study for the essential questions, “How do we get order from disorder?” and “What are denominations or sects?” Students study the holy places and symbols connected with those religions and, when studying Christianity, research and present a Christian denomination. Texts include the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, My Friend’s Beliefs and A World of Faith.
