our third grade program
Music
Third Grade students have Music twice a week for 30 minutes and a 45-minute chorus period once a week. In both individual and group settings, Third Graders acquire knowledge, skills and an appreciation for music. Students begin to use the soprano recorder to aid in note reading and musical understanding. In Third Grade, students have the spontaneity and creativity of the younger grades as well as a more developed capability to express musical thoughts and ideas.
