Privateers: Rising Kindergarten - Third Grade
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with before and after care available. Campers choose 2 areas of interest to explore each week, along with exciting theme activities and swimming.
The Privateers programs at Camp Annapolis are designed for rising Kindergarten through Third Graders. Campers will primarily be placed in groups according to age, in order to ensure an enjoyable challenging experience for all children. Campers will participate in exciting themed activities each week. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, campers will enjoy an hour of swimming at the Fishing Creek Farm Community Pool. Each week campers will have an opportunity to choose two Exploration Stations for enrichment. Campers attend Exploration Stations on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Fees: $210/week (Week 1: $126, Week 4: $168)

Week One: June 13 – June 15 Register Now
Theme: Nature – Explore the hidden world of bugs, butterflies and other elements of nature. Campers will be walking to Bru-Mar Gardens this week.
Exploration Station A: Choose One
- Fashion Show: Transform t-shirts, hats and flip-flops into wearable art.
- LEGO Land: Use your building skills to solve engineering challenges with LEGO blocks
Exploration Station B: Choose One
- Puppetry: Create a variety of puppets and perform for campers.
- Field Games: Play kick ball, field hockey and many other classic gym favorites.

Theme: Get Fit! - Get your heart healthy this week at camp. Make healthy snacks and play games sure to get your heart pounding.
Exploration Station A: Choose One
- Give Me Gimp: Create lanyards, key chains and bracelets with everyone's favorite camp craft supply.
- Baseball Skills: Learn basic baseball skills and enjoy America's favorite pastime.
Exploration Station B: Choose One
- Sensational Science: Set up and perform real science experiments, from kick-the-can ice cream to simple circuits.
- Scrapbooking: Create a camp scrapbook page and other scrapbook momentos.
Week Three: June 25 – July 9 Register Now
Theme: Space Exploration – Launch water propelled rockets, navigate through planetary themed games, and imagine life in space.
Exploration Station A: Choose One
- Fun with Fibers: Sew, felt, weave and hand-knit with yarn.
- Team Sports: Play a combination of classic and new team sports.
Exploration Station B: Choose One
- Cooking: Prepare, cook and eat healthy and delicious snacks.
- Camp Crafts: Create a variety of classic camp crafts like popsicle stick boxes and friendship pins.
Week Four: July 2 – July 6 (No Camp on July 4) Register Now
Theme: Celebration Nation – Celebrate our nation's independence all week long. Play patriotic games and create lanterns for our first camp lantern parade on Friday.
Exploration Station A: Choose One
- Upcycling: Create treasures from recycled materials.
- Soccer Skills: Learn basic soccer skills through fun drills and friendly competition.
Exploration Station B: Choose One
- Collage: Create one-of-a-kind pieces of art, using a variety of materials.
- Kick Ball: Play variations of your favorite playground sport.
Week Five: July 9 – July 13 Register Now
Theme: Treasure Hunt - Act the part of a real pirate by participating in scavenger hunts for treasure all week long.
