welcome

Welcoming students, families, and friends to St. Anne’s School is both exciting and rewarding. As Head of School, I’m delighted to share our enthusiasm and pride in our school’s unique qualities and curriculum.

Whether you’re just considering our school, returning to our classes, or an alumnus catching up on your alma mater, as you learn more about us you will see example after example of why our school stands apart as a center of excellence for Twos through 8th Grade education. We guide students to grow socially and emotionally, help them embrace life-long learning, give them the attention and tools they need to excel in our strong academic program, and prepare them for the decisions they face today and will confront in the future.

At St. Anne’s School, we cultivate trusted relationships among our students, families, teachers, and staff members to create an educational environment that nurtures creativity, exploration, and success. I invite you to reach out to me, or to any of our faculty or staff members, to learn more about our school and how we can help enrich your child’s educational journey.

St. Anne’s School of Annapolis

Founded in 1960 as a Preschool and Kindergarten, St. Anne’s School of Annapolis is now a community of approximately 305 students enrolled in our Twos Program through Eighth Grade. We’re conveniently located on 10 acres on Arundel on the Bay Road just minutes from downtown Annapolis.

We offer challenging academics and a purpose-based, exceptional education.

Our curriculum is contemporary, but our approach to learning is proven and based on research. We are committed to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high-quality programs of international education that share a powerful vision.

We are a diverse and inclusive community.

Our school philosophy is rooted in Episcopal principles, guiding our students to build lives of genuine meaning, purpose, and service within their community. As a result, we welcome families from many faith backgrounds, as well as those without a defined faith tradition. Through social justice education and experiences, we provide an environment where intellectual and spiritual wonder are valued, where love and kindness toward one another are pivotal, and where contributing to the common good is celebrated and expected. As a result, our students are compassionate, capable leaders.

We foster an environment of belonging, where students feel known, safe, challenged, and happy.

We offer our students a warm and welcoming learning environment that promotes self-governance through reasoning and intellectual curiosity. At St. Anne’s School, we value respect, responsibility, honesty, and kindness, and those core values are reinforced every day.
